The wells on the 01's seem to have alot of room also. What mods would I have to do?

I have a 01 cobra I want to drop it and put the widest tires possible on it. When I drop it I am wanting it to align perfectly so that it doesn't prematurely wear out the tires. This is what I am curious about. What springs provide the biggest drop and still remain alignable? What on top...

I just put a stage 1 SPEC in my 01 and it chatter bad on take offs. Is this normal for these clutches. I talked to my friend who just put one in and his did the same thing. Is this something that goes away?

I don't feel like buying a pump for the fluid can I just pour it in from the top where the shifter goes? I allready have the shifter apart because I just changed my clutch. Thanks :SNSign:

I am putting a new clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing. Is there anything else I should replace while the transmission is out?

The transmission has been removed! I ditched the old extentions and the bolts came out with the greatest of ease. Passenger side top: 1/2" drive 13mm socket, 1/2" Drive swivel joint, 1/2" drive 10" extension. Hit it with the gun and boom comes right out. Driver Side: Same as above...

I commend you guys for being able to get a dremmel into that small little area. I don't think I can make that work.

Ok I got everything out ok but the transmission. It seems the top 2 bellhousing bolts are desiring to be a PITA. I tried taking them out with a 24" 3/8 extention, 10" 3/8 extention, impact 3/8 swivel joint, 13mm socket, attached to a new craftsman professional air wrench that puts out 700lbs of...

The whole point of someone putting a saleen/cobra kit is so that they can drive around and look cool like they are driving the real thing. No buddy has respect for a fake. Ya it looks good but its just a copy. If driving something like that around doesn't bother you more power to ya. :nice:

I am pretty sure the redline on 01 cobras is about 7200 rpm to my knowledge. Since you’re so link happy; Please provide links for proof of 03/04 redline and that the IRON block only weighs 70lbs more then the aluminum. I don’t think you understand how much heavier iron is then aluminum. That...
