    I've put 5 sets of Motive gears in 3 of my cars and none of them whined.They make them for FRPP and have never heard of anyone having problems with them. Is this a new problem allot of people are having,or just a few isolated cases?:shrug:

    WHAT SIZE TIRE

    What about the 255/45/18 goodyear f1 on the GT-500. How is the traction and wear on them? Can anybody recomend a back tire that will fit and hook halfway decent? Pics? Thanks for your help.

    WHAT SIZE TIRE

    I have the 18x8.5 alloy bullets with the stock BFG g-force 235/50/18. How big of a tire can I put on the rear with the stock 8.5 inch rim. I don't want a real low profile look but I want to go as wide as I can. I have 275/40/ 17 on 9" rims on my '95, will a 275/40/18 fit on 8.5's?

    Stripes with Glass Roof...

    Roush 200 heads

    They should be fine on that setup, the cobra intake is going to make plenty of low end torque with them. I've got two sets of them,one on a 306 and one on a 354 stroker.:nice:

    why am i bogging off the line

    Try some horsepower.:p The 60' could be a little better , but what kind of 60' do you think you should be putting down with those number's? 1.80's aint all that bad for an 8.30's car.

    odd problem-car turning on and off while driving

    I hope we find someone with the same problem that fixed it. My car is doing the same thing. It does the same thing, it started about 2 weeks ago. The motor only has about 6k miles on it since I put the new stroker in it,new MSD distributor at the same time. I have checked for loose connections...

    Try BB&T Racing for one of there axle packages. I went with the Eaton posi unit with 31 spline Moser axles. They have the whole package with heavy duty wheel studs for $629. 800-416-6199

    306 solid roller motor, how would you build it?

    To go 10.0 in a 2900# car, your going to have to make about 575 hp at the rear wheels. Good luck getting 575hp from a N/A 302 with afr 185's.:rolleyes:

    I don't think Afr 185's are going to be big enough for what you want, to get into the low 10s with a 306 your going to have to have more head,like the 205's and probably turn 7500-8000rpm.     toasted my cluutch

    Yes , I tried it again today just wishing shi*. It was a little better, but not much. It has to be replaced. I'am going to pull it out tues night and see how bad it is. I just hope the flywheel is ok.

    HUGE problems in Cobra Land! F***, my new engine!

    Tom, arn't those new valve covers? do they have a baffle in them? A friend of mine had a similar problem and found that the pvc was right over the top of a pushrod and it was squirting oil right into it and making a damn mess of oil in the intake. Just somthing to check.:shrug:
