    Problem Installing Alpine Head Unit

    If I remember right theres a blue and pink or some stupid color on the adapter harness that isnt hooked to anything. That hooks to the blue amp switching wire on the Alpine to turn on the factory amps. Take it fwiw, this may not be your problem, but it was mine. T

    White smoke.. Just damn!!!

    White "smoke" is oil White steam is coolant. Steam will evaporate fairly quick, while smoke will hang around. It sounds like one of your turbos is leaking oil.

    11:1 is richer if I'm not Misaken. Might want to check these out. I'm not sure what valves you have in your GT-40P's if theyre stock, or worked up, but you can get these aluminium castings for less than $500, and you should be able to dump your ped mounts on ebay...or I might be interested...

    bellhousing question??

    The 3.8 bellhousing will bolt up to the 5.0, but the starter wont contact the flywheel. The 3.8 uses an 11" clutch, to the 3.8 BH moves the starter out a quarter inch or so. Youre going to have to find a 5.0 BH out of a 94-95, or a earlier 5.0 BH with a 94-95 Adapter. TK

    Car Shudders While De-accelerating?

    I had the same problem with my 95. Under any kind of deceleration it would shake terrible. It wasnt until I pulled my V6 out to put the V8 in that I realized that the pilot bearing was completely shot. That will definately cause a serious decel. shake. Hope you find it, T
