definately invest in a good cover, i got mine for 250 and it is custom fitted to the car with holes for the sideview mirrors to go in. Had it on for most of the winter in Mass and i have had no problems with it blowing off. My old cover was a cheapo and i found it blowing down the street one...

ive heard that the higher gear sets do generally whine or whur a little more than lower ones. maybe there is a break in period before they quite down. also check the fluid. im sure others will chime in.

355's would put you 2500-2800 or so at 75. i remember i was at 2000 at 65 in my fox. the 373 only put a few hundred more at any given speed.

i liked the 355's a little better than my 373's because of the slightly less amount of shifting but for a street stang i say either 355 or 373 for a 5speed
