    2001 Mustang V6 Cam install?

This tread started months ago but had to comment on those dyno numbers. SuperSix has been doing amazing things for years with these motors. Of note on this dyno run is that there are no accessories, very short straight exhaust and a vertical intake so those aren't actual "NA" in car numbers. In...

Anyone in the Montgomery-PG County area?????

What are you looking to have done? There are really good muffler shops, engine work shops, electrical shops just depends. The trick is finding one that will work on the weekends if you are a Mon-Fri 9-5er. I have yet to find a good shop for my sfc install that will take me on a Sat.

    1994 3.8 SC SWAP

That block/heads will be stronger but you will not see any horsepower gains from it. If you plan on adding boost to the engine later then this would be a worth while foundation upgrade otherwise pass. The SC Supercharger setups tend to go pretty cheap on the classifieds so keep your eye out...

    Swap 95 5.0 GT motor to 02 4.6 GT

I saw a guy who used an explorer 5.0 in a 99+ and ran it all using the 99+ pcm. He had a website but I can't find it anymore. Anyway he just spliced the 5.0 harness into the 99+ harness and just switched a sensor or two and had it running well. Note he used the explorer because it had the...

lincoln mark VIII swap to 2002 GT???

If you guys want to use a complete Mark VIII engine then you have 2 choices: 1) either use one from a 97-98 or 2) swap the 97-98 intake manifold onto a 93-96 Mark VIII engine. I have the 98 Mark VIII manifold and the throttle body comes out out on top and looks similar to a 99 Cobra...

    Little Bro's First Car

I just gave my little brother his first car a 1993 Ford Mustang LX 2.3L. This was a project car I picked up when gas prices were insane but I gave it to him as a gift for getting his license. When he graduates he gets a choice of either 5.0 swap or Turbo for the 2.3 if he still has the car at...

    3.8 to 5.0 swap

In regards to the elbow, your 3.8 intake tubes should connect right up to the 5.0 throttlebody perfectly without the elbow.

    Battery Relocation

I run 4ga and I have no problems either. I did in the beginning though due to not good ground. Try getting some electricly conductive grease and lubing your connection with it. That should improve your ground quite a bit. How did you wire the positive under the hood?

96-98 Mustang Volunteers Wanted in MD

My X-Pipe seems to be off by quite a bit so I would like to measure a stock or well fitting aftermarket H/X Pipe. I borrowed a welder from a friend so I need to do it this week. I think it just needs a shortening but not sure by how much. It may also turn out to be my cat-back so who knows...

    Ahh No Breakes!!

The only problem with doin it with pliers or channel locks(which I am guilty of) is that the piston get's messed up. The piston is then more likely to sieze in the bore and most of the time you will also tear up the rubber boot when doing it with pliers. Then water gets in and rusts out your...

    Engine swap 3.8 to 5.0

Don't forget to check local laws as there is a procedure you need to follow to get it "approved" by local DMV. It's usually just a visual inspection to ensure you kept the smog stuff intact, at least that's how it is in MD. Aside from what others have said you will also need to swap the dash...
