    Weight reduction

    I'm in the process of putting in a 347 stroker. While this is going on, i'm removing the foglight support, swapping K-Member/a arms (tubular), and taking out the A/C. Just curious if anybody knows how much the A/C Unit weighs.

    As with almost all electronic devices, the cooler you can keep it the better and longer it will last. So keep it away from the firewall and the headers. I believe there are a few people on here that have it tucked in the fenderwell.

    Hitch for my GT

    There is alot more to being able to tow than how much power your vehicle has. Like if your transmission will be able to take the added weight/stress of a trailer. There is a reason most people tow stuff with trucks and not cars. Cars are flat out not built for it.
