    Many other CAI systems (JLT, C&L, etc.) also require a reflash and produce a proven hp and torque increase. Has the Steeda CAI been independently tested on a dyno by anyone yet? I haven't seen any results and the Steeda CAI was not included in the 5.0 Mustang CAI Comparo of a few months ago.

    I took my '05 GT into the dealer to complain about excessive play in the manual trans and they ended up replacing the whole transmission under warranty (only 1500 miles on the car!). Apparently there was a TSB on metal shavings in the pan and mine had the metal shavings.

    Apparently, Livernois is now offering a set of ported 3-valve heads for about $1495 exchange. According to the dyno chart, they are good for 30-40 h.p. and maybe more with other mods - perhaps up to about 350 hp total in normally aspirated form.

    I agree. I think the chrome letters right across the trunk lid looked much better than what they finally decided to go with. I also think the original recessed hood scoops looked much better than the black hood "vents" they decided to go with for the production version. Oh well.
