    I did a complete WOT run on the freeway and rpms jump on all gears. Runs fine under normal driving. I know its not tires spinning.

    Well, I just ran it to 35 mph put it on 5th and floored it and it gradually sped up without rpm jumping up. But first and second gear at WOT still rpm spikes up to 5000. I do have an adjustable clutch quadrant at the firewall. I don't know how to mess with that though.

    for anyone that has replaced a convertible top..

    I paid $750 parts and labor. from tan top to black top with new window. My old top was worn and torn and the rear window was slowly coming off of the top I had air coming in all the time. You got to shop around for prices and reputation.

    Thanx I saw your post about this issue and thats what i did today I tightened bolts as much as possible and still there is play. I do have a 03 cobra steering rack that I haven't installed but I dont see that fixing my problem.

    Does a collapsible steering shaft from a 2003 cobra fit our cars? If it does is it easy to install? I have lots of play in my steering wheel and will be getting an 03 cobra steering rack soon.

    issues!! can anyone help

    possibly a clogged fuel filter. its cheap and easy to replace. Also I had misfire on mine when my spark plug boot was arcing with my headers, I had to replace wires. Check for burnt boots.
