    Problem with revving in neutral

I returned it today, and they said the data off the recorder shows no abnormal data, so they're keeping till they find the problem, or lemon it. In the meanwhile I get to drive a magnesia minivan.....joy

    Problem with revving in neutral

I would, but the the nearest one is a little too far. The way I see it, it's been in 3 times, it's almost a lemon.

    Problem with revving in neutral

I wish that were the case, mine just won't let me shift into first at anything higher than about 18mph, but I can rev all I want and go to first

    Problem with revving in neutral

Here we go again Just thought I'd let everyone know it's doing it again. Except it's worse this time, pushing in the clutch doesn't help. My car shakes quite violently when shifting into first gear at 4000-6000 RPMS. The dealership now can't find this issue, so they gave me this cool looking...

    Problem with revving in neutral

Got the car back last night, and the dealer still claims the same thing. However, it's not doing it anymore, one of their tests appears to have corrected the problem, at least temporarily. It's kinda funny, they admit the problem on report, says, "test drove, verified concern. TSB says...

    Problem with revving in neutral

An update for any of you that care. I ran it by the local ford dealership, and was told this is normal operation for the mustang. It's supposed to have high RPM's. He insists that it is only because the car only has 2000 miles

    Problem with revving in neutral

It's odd, if I push the clutch in, the RPM's drop to 1000, but if it's in neutral by itself, it's at 3000. I'm about go adjust the mats and see if that helps

    Problem with revving in neutral

I have an 06' GT with a standard, and whenever I shift to neutral, the car will just start revving up to 3,000 RPM's. I could be cruising at 800 in 5th, but the minute I shift to neutral to coast to a stop sign, it starts revving. Has anyone else had an issues with this? I'm gonna try taking...

    Wait for '07?

The Shaker 1000 isn't worth the 1200 anyway, just spend that on a nice aftermarket system.

    New GT

My local Ford dealer has a good tinter. I had him do my last Mustang, but he's extremely adamant about the windows not moving. I'll just talk with him on Monday. I doubt they move enough to bother anything. She's a great car once I learn how to drive standard. I stall out quite a bit, but...

    New GT

I just picked up a new 06' GT yesterday, and had a couple of questions I'm looking for an officially licensed Mustang dashmat. I checked the fordaccessories website, and the dashmat official site, but neither has one with the mustang logo. Do any of you know where I can them? I'm also...

Anyone have the Shaker 1000 in their GT??

Unless you're getting a vert, just get the 500. The 1000 is just too much for an enclosed setting

Exhaust and (possibly engine) for now?

For tinting, Tint your side windows as dark as legally allowed, and tint your back window dark enough that you feel comfortable driving around with. Mine block 80 or 85 percent, whatever NM's limit is, and if someone comes up behind me with high beams on, and I flick the mirror to not blind me...
