That would be Thumprr... Best tensioner money can buy. Best way to get ahold of him would be to go over to another forum and contact him personally. PM if you need the address of the forum but if you google it you'll find him.
With Audi's record for maintence issues I think I'd be MORE likely to change the oil earlier.
The only true way to tell when you car needs a oil change is to take a sample and have it lab tested. Do this a few times and you will find the sweet spot for your car. Myself, I beat my car...
No he has not. He sometimes pops into another forum I'm on as well and he hasn't done that either.
I hope nothing is wrong. His car, as well as yours, have been inspiration for many future plans for my car.
I'm not 100% sure on that. I think they have a differen't part numbers, but that could be a function of profit over from. Also, the most recent plugs are slightly differen't and one piece.
I agree with McNastyness. I doubt anything has been messed up, but make sure the next change has 6 qt's in the pan. :)
Sorry to be a dick, but seriously, you bought a $25k+ car and didn't think to consult the manual it came with? :nono:
On all the differen't forums I frequent, HT0's or HT1's and Brisk plugs are the most popular by far. A lot of the nitrous guys like the Brisk plugs and it seems the blower guys have better luck with HT0's.... The HT1's are actually identitical to what comes in our cars from the factory...
275 is way to wide for sure. I run 275/40's on my 9" wide wheels and they have some overlap even still.
I think the largest to run on the 8.5 wheels would be 255 or 265 and 265 would be pushing it still.
I don't have TPMS on my car and it is a 06'. If it started in '06 it has to be a late edition. I believe the largest tire to run up front is 285's. So it would have to be a 9.5 or 10 inch wheel for sure. They would be pinched on 9.5" wheel but would be ok on a 10" wide wheel.
I know that...
North Western suburbs and perhaps a trip down town. I'm not sure exactly where we will end up yet. Still looking for a Solid weekend to do this on. Could be a while before people put up there show schedules. One of the other members here that lives in the area is trying to line up as much...
Will do. I'm waiting on one of the guys from Chicago. Trying to line up as much car stuff in a weekend as we can. Looking to see what the best weekend is going to be, then he is supposed to let me know.
As soon as that happends I'll post up the dates. I'm going to probably get some hotel...
Hello everyone. There are a few of us in central and eastern Iowa that are planning a road trip to Chicago for a weekend. Most likely sometimes in May. The meet could possibly include a car meet with 300+ cars on Friday night and a car show on Saturday. Other possiblities are a cruise through...
I like CHE as well. I think I'm going to end up with mostly CHE stuff. Been kicking the BMR idea around but I've seen a lot of guys blowing out bushing with just DR's and mild cars.
This year for me..... Suspension, suspension, suspension.
I want to get my car planted and get everything dailed this year. Then next year around tax season I hope to do power mod's. I'm still stuck on which way I want to go though. Stay N/A all the way or go supercharged. Either way...
