    Need help with rear spoiler!

I tried getting the same info for mounting a spoiler on my 94 but never got any replies back even after 75 views. So I went through some parking lots until I saw the right year, talked to the owner for a second and took two measurements. One from the back of the trunk lid to the back of the...

    94 Mustang Rear Spoiler Install

Anyone have a template for mounting a GT rear spolier to the trunk lid? Getting it centered side to side won't take much but I have to get it aligned up proerly over the trunk access holes. If no template, how about a measurement from the back of the trunk lid to the back of the spoiler pedestal...

    Aftermarket shifter buzz?

The throw is real short. I also have the roush shifter ball. That was my first thought as to the cause of the noise, but it makes the noise with no shift ball or adapter installed. I did talk to Roush again and they said they have a newer design that doesn't buzz. I ordered one and they will...

    Aftermarket shifter buzz?

Anyone install an aftermarket short throw shifter and get a buzz in the middle of the rpm ranges? I put a Roush shifter in my 06 Roush. It gets annoying. I called Roush and they said that's what you get with a short throw shifter :notnice: Friend of mine had a short throw put in his Z06 and it...

Roush Roush Short-throw shifter......How is it overall?!

I have a new Roush short throw shifter in a box for my 06. I'm going to install it this weekend. I'll let you know what I think :D

    Best Cold Intake and Programmer?

Yeah, they baselined it and then did the CAI and tuned it again. Would have been curious to have them tune it before the intake.

    Best Cold Intake and Programmer?

I put on a JLT kit and had it dialed in on a dyno, picked up 18 horsepower. The difference in the sound when you mash it is a nice plus, but I'm sure all the open element type kits do that :D

First time at the track w/ my new stang :)

Nice first run, ya' beat me. I went out last weekend and best I could do was a 14.2 at 100 mph with a 2.2 60'. Track had just put down 400' of new concrete 2 weeks previous. Everyone said it was slick so I'm hoping to go back in January and see if I can do any better. I also had problems when...

Car at the track, first time, help!

A couple of guys got video, they're going to send it to me. As for procedure, I'd drive around the water, back up a little and bring it up to about 3000 rpm and slide the clutch to get the tires spinning. I'd just drive it the line spinning them. I use to race a lot with an automatic and line...

Car at the track, first time, help!

OK, took my 06 Roush to the track for the first time yesterday. Only change to the car was JLT cold air kit. The track, Speedworld here in Phoenix, had just redone the concrete out 400 feet and the track was slick according to folks who race the on a regular basis. So I'm sure that was part of...

Why do they call it a Cold Air Kit?

Yeah, I've seen the shield that isolates the filter from the engine bay, but I just don't see the additional "cold air" I recall seeing some kits for slightly older Mustangs that actually put the filter in the fenderwell, which could get the cooler air.

Why do they call it a Cold Air Kit?

Just got my 06 Mustang and have been reading the boards on some of the simple mods. I always see the cold air kits. But when I look at pictures of kits installed, it doesn't appear to do anything beyond the stock system except have a larger conical air filter  They all appear to draw...

Kinda new w/ pics (56K beware)

Nice car, I have an 06 Roush and live in Peoria. What side of town are you on? They've been having some good gatherings at the 83rd Ave and Union Hills parking lot on Saturday nights. Not quite as big as the Pavillions, but not as far to drive to for me either :D Craig

Roush So what qualfies a Roush as a Roush?

Learn something new every day :nice: I hadn't even opened my passenger door yet. Sure enough when I did, there's the sticker :D

    Phoenix Shop

Well, it's a bit of a drive, but IMO, it's worth it. I use Larry Peto's shop, Larry's Engine & Marine in north Tucson. http://www.larrysengine.com/ He's built my boat engine (878 hp) and several friends as well as many of the high horsepower boats in Havasu from 500 to over 1000 hp. He's does...

Pictures of GTs with Fan Blade Rims?

Are these what you're calling fan blade rims? They came on my car, but I do like the other style 18's better. Oh well, nothing some cash can't fix :D

My conclusion on mods, please review

Yeah, being new to the late model Mustang, that's was my question also :p Also IMRC????

Roush So what qualfies a Roush as a Roush?

I might be misunderstanding your post, excuse me if I am. My car was built by Roush as a Roush Mustang Sport http://www.roushperf.com/mustang_sport.shtml But it doesn't have a plaque on it. It has a seperate sheet from Roush, not something the dealer put on.

    Hello from a newby!

Heck, I certainly wouldn't say that :p Actually I would have been happy with a normal GT drop top, but the wife saw that one and feel in love with it, so ya' have to keep them happy.
