Yeah i googled AOD rebuild kits but there appears to be a bunch of differnt kinds. I dont know what to get

anyone identify this for me? I'm looking to rebuild my current one and i need to know what to get. THanks for any help

yeah thats possible. It's off of my 302.

I'm selling my auto trans out of my 67 mustang. It needs a rebuild. First gear slipped if u layed hard on it, and after like 55mph the trans starts to slip. Inludes the torque converter I dunno what it's worth so $300 obo? Located in Algonquin, Illinois, im' also in Chicago everyday...

I'm working on swapping my trans out cause my current one went bad. It's been a pain in the ass since my exhaust was welding and is 1 piece from the headers to the tail pipes. (stupid muffler shop not putting any flanges in) So after cutting a section so i can drop the passenger side header...

I took out all the screws that hold it in but yet it still seems stuck on something. Anything i should know? I dont want to break anything lol -joe

eh' i've sealed it like 4 times and it's still leaking. I dont know wat it could be. I'm having a mechanic look at it.

On my 302 for some reason my mechanic bought a 289 edelbrock performer intake mani. My engine is leakin water into the oil and motor. Could this be the problem? The water holes arn't lining up and leaking through the mani? Thanks, Joe

i already knew not to use them. It's just sealer. I'll let u know if i ever figure out wat the problem is. :(

i'll try it. I'm having my mechanic come over to take a look at it. I hope it's only the gaskets causing the problem and i dont have to take the motor out again.

No, the nothing was milled. I just got an aftermarket intake mani. How sohuld i check the clearances?

update, went back took off the mani, replaced the gaskets and sealed it all again. Changed the oil, still leaks. somehow my dizzy is stuck in my motor...:shrug:

damn i wish mine was running. Anyone intrested in coming over to help me fix it so i can meet to :)

Can i connect my 1 colant line that goes to the mani to the thermostat housing or does that defeat the purpose?
