    Safe Base Timing

    You need either a BTM or a chip in order to pull timing under boost. Put a BTM on the car, set base timing to 10 degrees, and put the BTM on 1.5 or so to be safe first time out and work with it from there.

    Regular Fel-Pro 9333's hold up just fine under boost. Tons of people run them at 15+ psi and I know of someone who went in the 8's using those headgaskets with over 25 pounds of boost.     I had the same problem with my FRPP 1.6 rockers not clearing the stock valve covers so I bought Anderson Ford Motorsport chrome valve covers part #AF-PKCVC for $70 and they work great. Had to run a 3/8 intake spacer to clear my upper intake but other than that, they fit fine.

    Definitely a 5.0. It has trick flow heads, trick flow stage 2 cam, etc. All pushrod components. Too many 94-95 5.0 guys change their tail lights to 96-98 ones to judge just by that.

    Paxton doesn't offer a Novi 1000 kit for 94-95 cars...only Novi 2000. Novi 1000's are for foxes only.
