Just curious... did anyone here do a T56 swap in an 05+ GT? How much work does it involve? From what I read you need a custom drive shaft, and a custom shifter and of corse clutch

No... not wide... 10 wide, 7.5 backspacing

i get around 25 mixed if i drive it normally... 13 mixed if i'm on it. Btw... my mechanic told me the 06+ take 6.25 quarts... I didn't have time to research it... but he filled it to 6.25 and it is right at the line on the stick... :shrug:

I found out the backspacing for those rims is 7.5" is that enough for the 295?

I'm stock height, the only suspension mods are BMR LCAs and relocation brackets which i don't think do anything to the height. I just e-mailed american muscle to see if they know what the backspacing is

from what i've heard u can either eliminate it or replace it... mine's been dead in my 2000 for 2 years... didn't break anything besides the Check Engine light being on because of it

What type of lower control arms do you guys recommend, also bushings? I have the same damn annoying problem

From what I saw overall there are a limited number of rims that will still keep a mustang looking like a muscle car and not an import. Looks like the bullits are getting the most votes :)

When you say wheel slippage in turns, do you mean that the car acts more like it has a solid axle? Will this harm the rear down the road?

I am flushing my tranny (manual) and the rear. I wanna put royal purple in. Can i use the Royal Purple Synchromax in the tranny? What weight does our cars need in the rear? 75-90 or 75-140? The car: 06 GT
