Mustang V6 Acceleration During Day Time

Cold air is dense. Thus more oxygen is getting to the engine. Hot air is thinner, thus less oxygen makes it to the engine (in the same amount of space). So yeah, in 100 degree heat, it's going to feel a bit more sluggish than it will in 40 degree weather.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Ford's suspensions aren't the best, but IMO, the roads have gotten a lot worse in the last 20 years. Potholes, bumps, uneven paving, EVERYWHERE. So it's not surprising that after a few years and some mileage, some suspension components will need to be...

    Dead Pedal?

Yep, there's a bump, but it's carpeted. South Carolina red dirt is hard on carpet though. So I was looking for something that matched the brake and gas pedal (it's an automatic). And as someone else already mentioned, the all weather mats do not cover the dead pedal section of the carpeting.

    Dead Pedal?

Do we know if anyone makes a Dead Pedal that can be installed? I find it annoying that my 2009 Focus had one, but the Mustang doesn't. :/

    Anyone Else's Coyote Consuming Oil?

I will probably change my oil around the 1000 to 1500 mark. I know they say 5k. But the first oil change I like to switch to full synthetic and do it around 1k mark.

What type of gas do you use?

Premium in my new Mustang only. I don't know what type of Oil they use in it, but my first oil change I will be switching to full synthetic, just like I did with my Focus. -- The oil is for peace of mind and added protection during cold starts, not HP gains. lol. My only problem is that there...

    Question For 2011-2014 Gt Owners

My wife has a Nissan Sentra. 2012. Rides as smooth as butter. But don't try to take a corner quickly in it. She loved my 2009 Focus SES Coupe. It handled well for what it was and the twisty roads were always fun, but the ride wasn't as smooth as her Nissan. Not that she ever complained...

    What Are You Guys Paying?

2014 Mustang GT Premium Sterling Silver Grey Automatic, everything but the Navi system and glass roof (Brembo package, comfort package, stripe delete, Shaker Pro, etc) (because Sync Services complimentary for 3 years and I hate navi screens). + 6 year Bumper to bumper premium warranty and the...

    Suspension Cracking Popping

The Neoprene contracts in cold weather and will stick a bit until it warms up and can make some noise. Once it's warmed up it's usually fine. If it is happening during the summer, something else may be wrong.

Paint On Steering Wheel Control Buttons

This happened on my Focus. I forced them to replace the buttons. They "claimed" it was due to using cleaning products that caused it to wear off quicker, but they did replace them.

    No Rear Floor Mats? WTH??

I've learned to order the all-weather mats from the get-go. South Carolina red clay stains everything. I need a trunk mat though. Ford doesn't offer one to fit with the subwoofer in the back.

    Landed A New 2014 Gt

Same on mine. 2014 GT with the Brembo brake package, automatic, 3:15's. Goodyear F1's Sterling Silver Grey. Have to wait until Saturday to have it tinted. Paid cash for it. :) I have been waiting since I was 16 for this car. Awesome. :)

Stage 2 Cobalt SS/SC Beats the Mustang GT down?

http://cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=21248 Yeah I'm new to the new forums. I was around back in the day before the forums crashed though. I came across this claim, on a Cobalt SS forum, and wanted to see what the mustang guys have to say, because I think it's BS, but am not familiar...
