just got my engine running and when I shut it off I hear a whistle sound, kinda like a blow off. problem is I have no turbo or sc. it idles fine, and and when I give it gas, nothing. only when I shut it off

where does the metal pipe that seems to go to the exhaust manifold and route forward toward the smog pump go? my hose was just crimped after the metal pipe and the smog pump is still there and theres a hose coming off of it. it looks like I'm missing something in between, can anybody help
