I'm going to be ordering Cervinis stalker/cobrs kit for my 88 GT. I added up all the same stuff from ABC and the cervinis kit was only 150 bucks more if i remember correctly and Cervinis will ship the whole kit for 130$, not bad if you ask me.

If i sand it do i need to sand out the texture in the plastic or just enough to scuff it up a little bit so the paint will stick?

But has anybody used one from ABC i'm just not sure cause there a three paice bumper. ALMOST STOCK i read that whole thread yesterday and now i'm just not sure if what to get, Cause the stalker looks badass.

Does anybody have a stalker fornt bumper from abcexclusive? It's a two peice bumper and i was wondering if it turned out looking ok? Should i just spend the extra money and get one from Cervinis.

I'm thinking about painting my gray stuff black and i know that it can and has been done by others. Will it stay looking good for a long time is my concern, so if you've done it in the past let me know how it's doing.

K back on the topic. Why are the older doors a PITA to remove? Will i need any special tools or angled wrenches on what?

Will doors off of a 84 GT work on my 88 GT ? My main concern is will the moldings from my 88 go onto the 84 and line up properly?

Installing an intake is not very hard especially with all the help you can get from here if you can turn a wrench you can do it. I think it takes me about 2.5 hours.

Do i need to keep the smog pump? I don't have cats and i run GT40 heads so there are no ports in the back for the smog to hook up to so can i ditch it all?

i do not have cats on it so maybe thats why it stinks. The owner before me cut of the turn down on the factory tail pipes so the exhuast just hits the bumper and lingers under the car. Would it help to put some back on?

would a MAF help with any of it?

I have a 88 5.0 with GT40 iron's cobra intake and my ? is that the exhuast smells up the car when i get on it so i thought it was running rich so i pulled the plugs and just the opposite they looked lean. Any ideas on what it might be?
