    This seems to reinforce my question. I see that it's great for burnouts, but as far as drivability goes, wouldn't you say it's easier to deal with a centri on the streets?

    Question for the PD guys. Are you running around on the street on slicks? Hard enough to hook up good on the streets without having a gazillion foot pounds of torque immediately off idle on drag radials IMHO.

    Maybe. How many rpm's are you planning on spinning your motor to? Factory rev limiter on a stock short block? No. Might as well get a box intake upper and a gt40 lower. Both will suck. A 331? Wouldn't be my choice unless you were running a bunch of boost. A 408? Yep. That'll do it. However...

    PP copies all their intakes. If you look around, you will find reviews of their intakes to be all over the place. What you tend to find is that people just throwing their first performance intake on a stock motor might not notice how bad port alignment is, and it may take them a while to strip...

    2nd vote for trick flow. Work great out of the box, and when, not if, but when you go to the next level, you can send them out to fox lake and have them run either a 195 or 207 cnc program on them and be good to go to ridiculous horsepower.

    Assuming you have a good set of drag radials/slicks. IMHO, it's easier to hook up on the street on a centri when accelerating as hard as possible "while on a freeway entrance ramp." :D

    Street car? Like posted above, talk to Tom Moss. Cobra intake is tough to beat down low. Super Intake Shootout - Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords Course, if you need that extra 20 hp over 6000 rpm, and are willing to give up the torque under 5500, choose an rpm II or trick flow by all means.
