same rattle in every gear at 2000rpms. The noise only lasts for like 1 second unless i try to hold it at 2000 rpms then it is like 2 seconds. Only in drive.

Well the throttle cable is defintely out. It was warm enough today 40 and raining to check the car out again. I still have no idea what it is.

Meh.. too much tire. 18's are much more attractive on a mustang..if you don't plan on going fast.

Is this for the manifold? If it isn't, then disregard paragraph below. I take it you are a guinea pig for Trickflow then. I would say dyno it now. Your results could sway buyers in either direction. I suppose you could even take pics of the install, so when the intake is available no one will...

Good news is that my hub was bad. Now the bad news..... the noise is still there....wth i need answers (Maybe i should add wierd noise to modifications!!!)

I put full exhaust on my car and it drives totally different. (probably me flooring it to listen to the rumble). A shifter is an easy mod to do, like everyone else mentioned.

I will be changing it tommorrow at a friends house. I will keep you posted.

That information was my error. I looked at the color codes briefly and typed off of memory.

Is your car throwing any codes? Had another car with similar problems and that was an oxygen sensor. The car ran fine until it was warm. Turn it off and it took an act of god to start it.

Thats funny actually. I believe Saturn had something similar that was stock. It is supposedly good for 1-2 lbs of boost. Someone should have told him that toros add 15 + horsepower ONLY if they are on a RICER!!! :nonono:

The sound was only when driving, not parked. It didn't matter what gear it was in, at 2000 rpms it would always make that sound. I messed with the brake shield by pulling on that hub. The sound did go away before then it didn't make the noise until 2500 rpms. Then it went back to 2000 rpms. I...

This happened to me in 1997. I went through one of those places with the towel boys at the end. I pulled my 95 Gt a 1/4 way out, the barn style plastic doors shut on the sides of my fenders. I was pissed. They paid for it to be repainted. Never again.. It's better do it yourself.

I understand your want ..maybe even need to modify your car. :D
