    Foxbody Mustang Cruise Control information, location, wiring diagrams

    On the "other site", there's a post about how to adjust the gain of the cruise control amplifier when a larger throttle body is used - any ideas on how to do this? Intuitively I think adding a resistor in series/parallel with the servo control circuit might accomplish this. What do you think?

    Turbo Coupe rears are 8.8 traction lock with 3.55's with manual transmission, 3.73's with the automatic. They come with vented 4-lug rear disks as well - good deal if you want to stick with 4-lug.

    Based on my experience, the King Cobra will hold up to about 375 RWHP. I broke it when I got closer to 400 RWHP, then switched over to the Centerforce DF.

    Oh fer cryin' out loud - glowing headers is not how you tune a car! And glowing at idle tells you nothing about whether your injectors are sized properly, only that your MAF may not match your injectors, is defective or your timing is way retarded.

    I had 3.73's until the differential blew up and damaged the gears as well. I was running out of gear at the track so I switched to 3.55's with the new differential. The difference is subtle at best, though I have noticed that 1st gear is somewhat more useful than before. I don't lack for torque...

    I tried the Acetone just for fun as I had some in the garage anyway. It had no effect at all on mileage in my PT cruiser that averages 26 MPG BTW. At 110 miles round trip it costs me about $13/day for gasoline :P BTW, who says only regular has ethanol in it? If it increases octane, why...

    Yikes, I've heard bad things about removing the spring isolators. The Fox cars are designed to use them - I would get some poly isolators in there.
