    D - I have tried the highest # of teeth of speedo gears possible and still running too high on the speeedo. Do they mahe a calibration box I can install to adjust it down?

    Thanks D. Something is sure screwy with mine as it acts like the drive gear is wrong. I have tried the speedgears which should have worked with my combo but it's still off. I guess there is only one way to find out for sure. Can I get to the drive gear by pulling off the tailshaft?

    bnickel, That matched my experience with them also. The first time torqueing of the bolts took more time and force than standard gaskets but that was due to having to compress the aluminum.     All of us can not be so lucky. I'll be slapping the gears before I am done with the car but that upgrade is far down the road.

    I have had recent success with both the Mr Gasket Ultraseals and the aluminum ones mentioned above. I used standard fasteners but do not forget to tighten as needed the first 10 or so heat cycles. Also do this ightening check with the engine hot. Good luck.

    Help, can't get C4 trans pan to seal

    As Dennis said degrease and inspect carefully. It may be leaking past the shifter arm as the convertor drains while it sits. Good luck!
