I gotta put cats on the car to quiet it down some. I have Pypes LTs, O/R h-pipe, and Violators. It's fine until you need to go hard. I'm afraid it will scare the children. I'm gonna get Pypes ceramic cats. Anybody use em? Will they cut down on the volume a little?

mufflers I have Pypes Violators w/stock cats and sry but I don't hear trucks except for maybe something similar to the 01 Lightning I had. If it can sound like that then I'm fine with it. It sounds fine to me--does drone a bit but WTH. Why get high perf mufflers if u can't take the sacrifices...

hurst is junk I've had a junky Hurst since 7/7 and it doesn't vibrate, hang up, or rattle. I push/pull pretty hard at times and it hasn't even come loose like many say. I'm sure there are better ones but the Hurst is not junk-not mine anyway. Besides, I like old school look - not the euro...

SCT SF3 I can't say what it did. I had a 4.10 gearset installed at the same time. I did not get a CAI, I opened the box up and got a K&N. It feels quick to me but I think that's more because of the gears.:shrug:

I dunno It worked for me. I folded the tape to get a x4 thickness. This stuff is like rubber. The sound is similar to cutting thru sheet metal with a circular saw. This fix worked for me so far. I wish they had a fix for the clunky drivetrain. Maybe I should wrap the D/S in this stuff.:rlaugh...

35000 2007 GT bought in July '06, DD, Brenspeed 87 tune (until gas gets back under 4 bucks a gal.), UMS and Spohn rear susp. stuff, Hurst, Pypes, and Turtle wax Ice. It's either this or a Landcruiser . I'd much rather drive the Stang.
