    hood pins or latch. pins might be loose, or the latch may be a little loose?? Also, there shouldn't be alot of play on the hood if you grab the corners (flex). If so, you might want to invest in some new rubber hood bushings. Are they crusty looking and flat on top- if so, get new ones...

    Do not use the 50Resto stuff- it end up being like $12 for a washer and a cotter pin. Just go to your local tranny shop. They will give you one for about $1.00, and it works better.

    X vs H

    Its really neither here nor there on your combo, I would be against running an O/R either. Especially with single chambers like I did. X-pipe with cats would be my choice for best flow, and the cats would help the back pressure a little so not to really hurt the low end.
