Eibach Sportline Owners: Come On In....

It doesn't make any noise at all. I never had a single squeek out of mine and they "were" like that for atleast two years. I say were because I just got rid of the stang for a 2005 F150 4x4 SuperCrew.

Eibach Sportline Owners: Come On In....

Here's a pic of mine with eibach sportlines. It's actually lower than it looks in this picture, I think it's just the angle I shot it at doesn't show the stance of it very well. Mine settled quite a bit in the days-week. The sportlines will continue to drop a little over time. Mine has...

    Blower and driving like stock

I'll give you that. Roots blowers do make less peak rwhp than centrifigal and twin screw blowers. BUT!!! with a better tune, you most always get more hp. If the tune is bad enough to get horrible part throttle driveability, then there is more likely much more power available when properly...

    Blower and driving like stock

:stupid: I think o3redfire is right. No offense, but you are running 9 psi of boost with an o/r x-pipe, etc. and are only making 318rwhp. I am running 9psi with an o/r h-pipe and I am making 410 rwhp and mine is completely fine at part throttle. It's just like stock. It idles the same...

    Blower and driving like stock

Who has a supercharger and worries about part throttle driving? I have the steeda/vortech kit, and unless you give it WOT, you can't really tell it's there except for the whine. I think my other mods have made it worse as a daily driver than the supercharger did.

Anyone got pics of a 295 Tire on a 9" rim?

I am running 265/35 on 18x9's all the way around, but it's about time for new tires and I want to do something bigger in the back. About my only choice is a 275/40zr18 unless I go all the way to 295/35zr18. They suggest a 10" rim for the 295, but that is just a suggestion, I have heard of alot...

Straight Pipes on a 2000 GT?

I doubt you would like it for too long. I have an o/r mac h-pipe with the 40 series flowmasters, and It's loud. I couldn't imagine having to drive around with just straight pipes. An o/r midpipe is a good choice, but you really need somekind of muffler, to tame it down just a little.

Does the 99+ 2v motor have a 6 bolt or an 8 bolt crank?

I am pretty sure that the 99 and 01-up romeo's had the six bolt and the 00 windsor's had the eight bolt. But I have also heard that their are oddballs out their, that are backwards, I guess they used whatever they had on hand at the time?

    01 GT Mustang Towing capacity?

Straight out of the owner's manual. "TRAILER TOWING Your vehicle is capable of towing a trailer up to 454 kg (1 000 lbs.) gross trailer weight with a maximum tongue load of 45 kg (100 lbs.). Do not tow a trailer until your vehicle has been driven at least 800 km (500 miles). Towing...

    NOOB Question

Like many others have said. The Novi 2000 will get you more power, BUT it is a much bigger blower. If you are keeping a stock bottom end for now, like I am, a vortech s-trim is plenty big and makes good power. I have a completely stock motor with the steeda/vortech kit, a power pipe and an...

    Importance of Gauges

The oil pressure guage is easy. You just unscrew the stock oil pressure sender and buy a t-fitting. then you screw it in the hole and put both senders in the fitting. the only problem is, if you're like me and have a centrifical supercharger that requires a oil feed, like a vortech, then you...

Someone with a Tech Manual Please

My fault! I just glanced at it without looking close enough. Looks like it one of those inverted systems Where the coils always have 12v supplied and then they just ground it when it is supposed to fire. Most are always grounded and then supply the voltage when needing to fire. You're right...

Someone with a Tech Manual Please

The White/Blue is the 12volt. Only the ground colors change. They are from the PCU and ground when it is supposed to fire.

    need fast help...Schrader Valve removal

Take a rag and put it over the valve with the black cap off. Take a small screwdriver and press on the little stem inside the valve. Make sure the rag is over it!!!! This will relieve the pressure on the fuel rail. Then take a wrench and unscrew it. You'll need an adapter to put your fuel...

    Pony Removal.

My MAF didn't have those kind of torx screws? Mine had bolt head screws. It amazes me the kind of differences in our cars, even the same year models.

    Pony Removal.

It is a safety torx, which is a torx bit just with a hole in the middle. If you have regular torx screwdrivers like me, then just use a small drill bit (small enough not to mess with the torx slots) just big enough to cover the post in the middle and drill it down. Then You can just use the...

    supercharged 2k gt

Driving your car after you install a supercharger without a tune, is like driving your car after you put on new wheels but you don't have any tires yet. I am not trying to be a smarta$$, but your just asking for trouble. First off you can NOT run oversized injectors on a stock MAF without a...

The hestitation problem i had, KNOW the problem!! ORIGNAL OWNER JACKASS

It just takes a squirt. It won't hurt it, just make sure you don't have a big puddle of it sitting in the hole when you take out the plug.
