    If the rears lock up first it will send you into a tail spin. PV in the rear lines. However, I have done this same swap and adj. the pv and the rears never lock. Actually, the fronts won't either. PV to the rears with the fronts locking first then the rears.

    7" all the way around. I'm running 15x7 on the '65 with no drop/raise. 215/60r15 rubber and only close point is at front of front tire at the bottom of the fender. About 1/4" clearance at closest point. You're fine

    Maybe it's been too long but you can't independently break down the top and bottom can you? That changes the whole fraction. Top and bottom have to have same properties to cancel out I'm out...been too long

    I don't think he's trying to solve for any variable. Just lowest terms--simplify equation. If it were me, I'd go to a math forum. Most of us stop at figuring compression ratios and rpms at a given speed.
