I did a similar thing but i made mine a lot longer and tied the front and rear frame rails together. I also made them fit the floor a lot better then the ones they sell. Here is a few pics of the ones I made scott

Im thinking about replacing the full floor pan on my 65 fastback. Who makes the best fitting floor I see that there is two different ones. Dynacorn sells one that already has the seat risers on. Just looking for thoughts from the guys who have put one in already thanks scott

No There is a large plate welded to the frame rail and Im going to install a gusset between the lower mount and the frame to support the load. Im hoping to get that done tommarrow I will post some pics.

Thanks The plan for the car is to be a all around car but more set up for drag racing than anything. Im going to put in a cage and I have already put mustang II up front. It should be a pretty good street car as well.

Finally got some more work done on the rear suspension today. Was able to get all the brakets welded on the housing and the rear shock crossmember up in place. Now all I have to do is start welding it all together and get my wheels and tires mounted. here are some more pics

$250 for the springs they are set up for the bars already because the front bushings have to be changed out inorder to use the caltrac bars

so far it looks like I will be able to fit a 275/50/15 with room to spare while still being able to keep the fold down seat and the interior panels intack. It is just going to take a little creativeness to get the lower part of the rear seat to fit here is a pic from the inside.

it is a chassisworks universal billet 4 bar kit that I adaapted to fit the mustang. It is similar to the TCP 4 bar but i was able to put the lower control arms inside the frame rail so I can mini tub it later.

I finnally got all the rear suspension mocked up and its starting to take shape. All the brakets are on and its time to start final welding everything in place

the best thing to do is take it apart and then have it blasted dont waste your time fixing the rust now it will be alot easier once it is all clean and you will probably find more rust then you think so exspect the worst. The name of the place is Myers sandblasting it is in oakland after...
