Doc, what k-member do you have? a lot of "drag race" oriented k-members are definitely not suitable for the loads encountered on a road course (or autocross course for that matter).

I have my engine out and I'm hoping putting in the booster/MC from a 94 v6 will be easier that way.

You'll be fine without the MC. I have the exact same setup on my car right now (until I swap to the discs in the rear which are in the garage right now). No pedal problems at all.

Off topic a little, but does classic tube still carry the hardline that runs along the axle or is it even necessary?

I did the swap without changing out the MC/Booster. I autocrossed my car for a full season plus did some track days. No problems. I'm going to do the rears this winter so I will have to do the booster/mc now I guess.
