Go with what you know. With your description of your needs/driving style, you would be a fool to try anything else. You can not beat the stock tires for the money. They are a bargain! BTW, it sounds like you're taking it too easy on those tires! I'll be lucky to get 32,000 out of mine.

My 2006 GT Premium has 2 options. Auto Trans and Active Theft. It weighed 3750 with a full tank. Could this be right? What kind of numbers are you guys seeing? This sounds at least 100lbs over everything that I have read.

Parallel plane? Didi I say that right? Heck, just imagine that the shafts are both guns that shoot a bullet for an infinite distance with no drop, the bullets would never cross paths.

I may be wrong, but, I'm pretty sure that your differential pinion and transmission shaft should be in the same parallel plane. If they aren't, you could adjust the tailshaft with shims or rear axle links (provided they have adjustment capability).

One way to find out for sure is to look up Ford part numbers for springs, shocks, and sway bars. If the part numbers are different based on wheel size that would answer your question.
