    Felpro 1250 Intake Gaskets Are Trash!!

    have either of you guys had your heads machined? If you get the bottom of the heads shaved, it lowers them and wont let the intake sit flush. Also they could be warped?

    Why is this kit so cheap?

    well if you look on ebay he has about 6 of those kits up for auction at a time. Im seeing double and quadruple comments listed by the same person in some of the feedback pages. Some of the postings within minutes of each other?? Does seem kind of wierd.

    I have an 88 LX 5.0. Im getting ready to purchase a new block and start fresh, probably a 331 stroker or something similar. I WILL be turboing it in about 5 months or so. Do I have to convert MAF or can i stay speed density? Is it even a possibility?

    What size belt do I need??!!

    the way i've been told is take a piece of string and wrap it around the pulleys the way a belt would run. Pull it tight and then use the length of the rope.

    Well im getting ready to rebuild the engine, and I want to put a somewhat cheap but decent cam in it, just for a bit of difference. Im looking at the alphabet cams. I MIGHT, MIGHT, run a blower in the near future. Thats why I'm leaning more towards the B cam. Any other suggestions?

    Im looking in the classifieds and spied a 429 for sale for a not too bad of price. Question is, will this engine be a good fit for my 88 5.0. I mean will it really actually fit, and also, do I have to redo the front end suspension. Whats the HP range for this engine?
