Ryan, As others have mentioned, your best option to maximize performance would be an Xcal or Predator tuner and a CAI such as C&L. Put it on a dyno to dial the tune in. There are other "goodies" that will eliminate the lag, such as underdrive pullies and 3.73 or 4.10 gears. RD
