    Nope...since I changed the fluid is has not used a drop...always 2/3 up into the hash marks on the dipstick....It's been about 500 miles since I fixed a leak and topped it off.

    Thanks for the list...I'll be sure to check it out... Regarding the ujoints, they really did not make any difference in the way the transmission engages into drive or reverse...with the old ones or the new ones it drives exactly the same.... I am leaning toward a vacuum modulator problem...

    When I first got the car, I drained all the fluids, put in new plugs (a pain) and wires, cap, rotor, rear brakes and u-jooints....so they have 1200 miles on them.

    Minor accident.

    You sure have my sympathy....I hit a deer over Christmas and it did $8000 damage to my 94 Town Car. Of course, I had just had it painted and installed a complet new air suspension system....ugh. It happens so quick, and the damage is soooo nasty. Good luck on the repairs...I hope it all works...

    Just Bought a 92 Mustang...

    I just drove it home, and really like it...4 banger with an auto. I am going to change all the fluids, belts, hoses, etc., but there is no owner's manual with the car. I don't know what to put in the auto tranny...I was planning on Mercon V and a new filter....generally I use Valvoline...
