Wait til you install that JLT & load the tunes, it will really wake the car up. I ended up tweaking my Pypes system about 3-4 times until I got the tips lined up right.Finally got it last weekend where I'm happy with it.Overall, I'm happy with it myself.

Mike, Your link is to an Expedition.:shrug: Shelby GT's come with Ford Racing GTA mufflers. GT-500's come with either the same or similar mufflers as on the Mustang GT's.They appear the same as stock Mustang GT mufflers.

Just installed my mid-muffler system this past weekend, had the GTA's on prior. Otherwise all stock exhaust. They are a step or 2 above the GTA's, but a different tone. Not too loud. I do have a slight amount of drone from 2000-2100. Will have to see if it gets more noticable or not.

You may also want to consider the FRPP GTA axle-backs. They are a bit louder & deeper than stock, but not overbearing. I ran them for just under a year. Recently installed the Pypes mid system & they are another notch up over the GTA's.

Mike, You'll be suprised @ the difference it makes.I started off with the 89oct tune, recently loaded the 93 & noticed a difference in the low end with the 93.With the price of gas these days,I'll keep the 93 tune. Enjoy.
