hmmm I guess it comes down to what your intentions are. A hardcore, turning corner, road course car may not. A hardcore, strip/street car however...

    My 1970 Mustang project - Frame/Floorpan/Subframes.

I got some pics, but we are kinda going in the opposite direction. We did the cage, mini tubs first, and notch the frame rails first, and now we are gonna do the frame connectors, locate the rear, and move the springs inboard and then install them.

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

Yes, the R&P comes with it. Cochino nailed it I think...It is up to you to notch it or not. I don't have one, yet, but from what I have heard you locate/mount it in the belly bar hole, drill two holes in in framerail per side, and its done! Of course, your notching may vary... If your SSBC...

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

Hmmmm....(doing math...) "Minus 6, carry the 8, divide by..." Actually, you can get the AJE kit for $2250 w/ the SN95 struts. Add some nice road race brakes (your brand of choice) for $700 ish, and you have a front end with front steer rack and pinion (power or manual), mucho room between the...

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

I checked out the RRS system. It is a nice piece. But it is more road race oriented. And plus, there are a few differences, I believe. The keep the lower control arm mount, right? And it also keeps the strut rods and rear steer r&p, right? I know there is a r&p kit available, but when you...

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

BNickle, I guess I didn't come across clear, my fault. duh. Originally, when we were modding the factory suspension, we were going to go w/ an Omni rear steer rack, attached to a modded belly bar. Now, with this setup, we will use the front steer Pinto rack w/ bumpsteer kit. And yes, the...

Has anyone checked out AJE's new front end?

Figured I'd complete the story... The reason why I am talking about this is to get the word out. Alot of people want to go fast at the track. I am building a Turbocharged 70 Maverick with stock suspension, and looking to go 8's. So it is safe to say, I'm a bit off. :rlaugh: But I, along with...
