I was mulling around and think that significant space could be had by ditching the spare tire well (and the spare, of course). IIRC this is what they did on the 351 R so maybe that tank was larger than 15 gallons.:shrug:

I know that FMS (now FRPP) used to sell a 15 gallon fuel tank like the one used on the 351R but that is only 1 gallon larger than stock. Does anyone know of a higher capacity fuel tank for our cars?

What brand clutch is it? Many aftermarket clutches have the on/off feel with little feather to them. I've never had any problems with the stock types but my friend has a Zoom Kevlar unit that I find hard to drive because of this.

Large diameter (13" Cobras) rotors can cause a vibration if they are out of balance as well.

I have the Accel's, too. Like 'em, but I will make my own the next time around using bulk wire and MSD ends. I have a set of crimper jaws at work just for that purpose.

Also, many after market heads are bored with 1/2" holes so they can be used on 5.8 blocks. The 5.0 only uses 7/16" bolts or studs which allow way too much slop.

Where are they breaking? All three at the same point?

Don't you also need a new H- or X-pipe?

Does that TA cover have the preload screws? Did you overtighten them?

What ever you decide to run, if you have ABS and want it to function, you'll need to keep the F/R tire diameters close.
