    A 65 fastback for me

Pretty sure my buddy in HS was running the same rear stance. Same paint job too.

    Sniper Timing Question

You might have better luck either in the Digital Self-Tuning forum or on the Holley site. Not a lot of us in the vintage world doing tuning with EFI. I'm still learning myself, so I'm not any help to you.

Couldn't you ask him? Also, since he's not posting here, find out how we can learn about his next project. Some of us have been following before he started this one.

    65 door adjustment frustration

Door alignment is voodoo to me, but if you watch enough voodoo ceremonies you can start to think like a witch doctor.

    65 door adjustment frustration

I hate door alignment more than any other panels, and I hate panel alignment in general. But if you had it perfect in primer, and nothing else changed, don't go adding shims. It'll only present as a new issue with fenders, cowl, and hood. Did the post that the door latch closes on get...

    Wiring Help and question

FWIW, the 67 diagram is drawn differently than the one @wicked93gs posted above, but looks to be functionally the same for your purposes. I knew that ground on the taillight did something under the dash. Not as dumb as I look! :D

    Wiring Help and question

I am NOT the guy you want, to take electrical advice from, but I read recently when working on my wiring that ground to the tail light is used to signal something with interior lights (IIRC) that only come on in certain situations (eg, interior lights or dash lights that only come, on when tail...

It is in a different thread. Giant opinion thread. One of the mods decided Mike's opinion and/or way of expressing it was objectionable. Hope he's getting a lot done on the car. Or maybe he's given up on cars and taken up quilting.

I guess he's gotta stay gone until he comes back and sucks up to whomever. I've got no idea how he does that when he's banned, but ??? I don't see his apparent offense as being any worse than any of the other overstated opinions, including those coming from people with the ban-hammer. :hide:

Best GT gauge bezel and dash pad

What year? Mustangs To Fear has a really nice dash pad that can be ordered with the gauge pod built in, but I think it's only for 67-68.

Brake system original or upgrade for a '68 347...

Something weird happened on this thread. I posted another reply and it was there for a while, then disappeared. I used the acronym BBK to mean "big brake kit" forgetting that I was on a site that has a lot of traffic for fox bodies, where it is also a brand. It's shorthand in other car forums...

Brake system original or upgrade for a '68 347...

I see these rotisseries and I'm so damn jealous. Makes me want to build another one. The 15" rims will definitely be a significant factor. The good news is that for your intended purpose, factory discs, or a low end aftermarket kit should be plenty. I would encourage braided flex lines and good...

Need a lot more info. Original drum fronts, or discs? What wheels are you running? Power or manual? What are you using the car for? What are your goals? What's your budget? Are they working properly now?

    Suspension 1965 Front Control Arms

Most of the factory style replacements have a reputation for being lower quality. Moog arms seem to be the desired replacement part, but difficult to find. Definitely recommend the roller spring perches. They take so much bind out of your suspension. What are your goals for the car? If your...

Electrical Gurus: Check Engine Light Wiring for 91 LX

I appreciate it. No diagrams for the harness. Basically what I copied above is all I have. The dash does have a diagram, but it just shows where to connect the CEL - wire coming from the harness. DD tech support confirmed that they only need the 1 negative wire. They weren't any help on...

Electrical Gurus: Check Engine Light Wiring for 91 LX

It was after hours last night. Planning to call today, but I am not sure how, much, hell I can get. DD is pretty clear what they need, and the Ford Racing harness has been NLA for a, while-not sure if they still have a tech support person who knows it. I guess my question was more generic-if I...
