    I had a cold air intake that ran into the fender. Just take out that big black plug in the fender well. Then you put a cone filter on the end of it through the hole from the original intake box.     I've heard of guys going fast with a 5spd and 4.10's. But they were the daring few to do 5 grand hole shots. One guy was from here years ago, from Canada.

    I did a 13.8 with 3.73's. I put in 4.10's and went 14.3 If I advanced my timing and increased FP I'm sure I could have gotten a 14.1, or 14. Either way it was slower.

    Sounds good. If your sticking to the 302, rule of thumb is 3.55 rear end gears for a standard and 3.73's for AOD's.

    They are at total different ends of the spectrum when making power. A 5.0 makes all its power down low. Low end torque, with a little mid range. While the 4.6 makes its power up top. Revs higher. 5.0's make no power above 5000rpm. Also, stock 5.0 blocks cap out around 400hp. Anything above...
