Is my engine supposed to miss at low RPMs?

As for the boost-a-spark. I know lot's of guys talk about spark blowout, but there is no such thing as the spark actually being "blown" out. When the spark plug is fired both valves are completely closed, and the piston is about 15-28° BTDC. In other words there is no incoming air charge, and...

Is my engine supposed to miss at low RPMs?

Yes, it could wash down the carbon off the exhaust port and inside of the header primary on that cylinder if the COP was intermittently missing. BTW, I meant to say it would intermittently run rich, not lean...I think you know what I meant, my fingers don't always type what I think...or is it I...

    VIN Location

I don't recall ever seeing one on the hood or fender, but there should be one on the firewall. There are a bunch of VIN locations.

Is my engine supposed to miss at low RPMs?

Sounds like a COP is weak or going bad. That would cause that cylinder to intermittently run lean and miss. That would also explain the washed down exhaust port on that cylinder.

Clutch Makin' Noise After Running at the Track

This is actually pretty common when guys are pulling down to hit 4th and pull it into 2nd instead. Hot spots are just little spots that can be glazed over on the flywheel friction surface or the clutch disc. But, it may not be hotspotted at all since I haven't seen your clutch. If it feels like...

Need Help! -- What do you think?

Seems reasonable to me for a Cobra. I would think the Cobra's larger front valance would create more drag. The frontal area seems about right for the Cobra as well. Here is an article in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords that lists the Cd for a 2003 Mach 1 as .36. The GT should be very close...

My father and I do daytrading in our spare time. I try to read the financial sections of the Wallstreet Journal as much as possible. There's a Money and Investing section in there where they routinely have banks and lenders doing their own articles. They constantly talk about how it is preferred...

Clutch Makin' Noise After Running at the Track

You may have hot spotted the disc and/or flywheel. That is a common cause of the clutch whining/chirping.

LOL, you are going to have to let me use that last line in my sig! That's the funniest thing I have heard in a while on here.:D From everything I've read, it seems keeping your balance at or just below about 30% of your credit line is usually best. But if you are like me, you have a hard time...

    96 GT Starting/Running issues

Well there is a way to jumper 2 pins on the PCM/EEC junction bulkhead to make the pump run continuously, but if your pump has quit that probably wouldn't do you much good.:D I guess you will just have to siphon it out if you don't want to drop the tank with it being full. A little trick I...

    Spark Plug Blowout

Yeah, try to do what you can to keep that water out of the plug wells. There is a pretty good chance that some or all of the COP's may be hurt on the plug wells that were getting water in them. Water in the plug wells can also cause flash over problems.

Then you don't have a good understanding of how credit cards work. The two most important factors that are influential to your credit rating (FICO score) are making your payments on time and how much of your credit line that you actually use. Paying off your balance to zero on a credit card...

    Spark Plug Blowout

That could have been two possibilities. There is a condition with spark plugs called flash over. As the ground electrode and center electrode wear over time, the gap is effectively widened and this raises the voltage requirement to fire the plug. The flash over occurs when the required voltage...

I understand you were just trying to help, but you were recommending a bolt that is softer and has a significantly less load strength than even a Grade 5 bolt. I was just clarifying for our friend across the pond.;)

    Venom VCN 1000 Nitrous Kit

Let's see if I understand this correctly. Getting a credit card that has 3 to 4 times the interest rate and charging a bunch of "gas and crap" on a revolving balance credit card is a better idea????? I got lot's of loans when I was younger to make my cars faster. Line of credit loans have...

    Fasteners

Positive. A Grade 8 bolt for the LCA's would be WAY overkill. A Grade 8 bolt for the LCA's would have over a 100,00 PSI load strength. Even with a 1000 HP motor, you would never even come remotely close to breaking a Grade 5 bolt. Even a Grade 5 is a little overkill, but it's good insurance...

Take your 2 grand and see if your bank will loan you 4 or 5k on a line of credit loan or signature loan with your 2k as a down payment. I did that when I was younger. It's also a very good way to establish good credit.:)

Yes, it will be fine to replace the TTY bolts with a regular Grade 5 bolt and Nylock nut. There should be some numbers stamped on the bolt head, if so they are metric.
