    I have a feeling the amp might be disconnected because clues are leading to the fact that I think the previous owner had subs and an amp in the trunk so this afternoon i'm gonna start looking at the amp power sources and behind the head unit and such. thanks for the advice....i'll let you all...

    yeah the hoses are different sizes, I just couldn't remember if the ports on the egr tubes were different sizes. A picture would be great though...thanks.

    Thanks for the pic, however they must have changed the sensor on the 98's because mine is black plastic and the ports are on the same side of the sensor which is on the drivers side close to the firewall and the ports are facing the firewall.
