I've had the vacuum line under the hood, broke in 2 places. This weekend I had the same issue and tracked it down to the round canister behind the glove compartment had come loose.

Yes you can use "some" 15" rims. Most 15" rims fit, but there are some that do not. I got some cheap Summit steel 15" rims, clears the rear cobra brakes.

There are 2 ways the serpentine belt can go on. Have to do with how they go around the water pump pulley and harmonic balencer pulley.

Yep, those Sumitomos are decent street tire, but when they start to spin they are useless. As stated, get a extra set of rims and go with MT or BFG's. For more of a driver, get the Nittos. Nittos 315's run on the small side and can fit a 9" rim, but the BFG's & MT will not.

Make sure it's not a early, before 65, possible 64, as they can have a different bell housing bolt pattern. Otherwise, as stated the dipstick is located different. Use the fuel injection intake and should be no issues using the 289.

In therory, yes a tall tire will make the RPMs go down at the traps. Think of other issues also, possible a lower 60'.
