    Ok here it is I have a bad lower intake no cracks no holes but it appears to not mate up correctly anymore! Used all of the lower tricks rtv around the water jackets, new gaskets, retorque all done correctly! My question is can A machine shop fix this if it is not true and how would they do...

    Fel-Pro #1250 leaks suggestions

    Fel-Pro #1250 intake gasket for a GT 40 intake with AFR 165's heads lower intake leaks coolant and I used rtv around the water jackets twice what other gasket or trick can I use?:shrug: the 1250 just aint doing the trick!:mad:

    Rusty Bolts

    bolts since you are going to sears anyway get a :nice: Craftsman screw extractor set drill the top and use the extractor you tap in with a hammer to ease out the bolt!

    ARP bolts If you can afford it use the ARP stud kit you can use it over and over again and you don't have to worry about them shearing off eventually!:nice:

    leak lower intake was leaking letting water into #1 and 5 cylinder all fixed no more leaks :nice:

    leak Ok Intake (lower) leaking into #5 and #1 cylinder both have bad compression 15psi or less:nonono: Looks like I'm getting a 331 or 347 boys:nice: and low compression pistons so I can run that blower I always wanted :rolleyes:
