Seeking recommendations for upgrading an '05's exhaust system.....x-pipe, h-pipe, systems, etc. Any advice greatly appreciated. Currently has single Magnaflow.:SNSign:
I drive an '07 GT convertible. Has an X-Cal 2 tune and Steeda cold air as well as an "x" pipe with dual American Thunder mufflers WITHOUT catalyctic converters (not required in Florida). Any of y'all know how I can get a nice powr boost for $500 or less? Thanks...your advice is always...
JUST MOVED DOWN TO ORLANDO AREA FROM HOT-LANTA. ANYONE OUT THERE LIKE TO GET TOGETHER TALK SHOP, ETC. I'M A RELATIVE NEOPHYTE BUT LOVE CARS. RESPOND TO [email protected], IF INTERESTED.
My "Mustang Guy" in Hot-Lanta recommended using mid-octane gas rather than 93. Do y'all agree? Also, I've begun using Mobil 1 (always had great results on Corvettes). Do y'all like the oil choice?
Took the advice of some of y'all and put 17410 Flowmaster axle backs together with an x-pipe on my '07 GT. Sounds great, turns heads and makes it hard to hear the radio!!!
Sometimes, when coming close to red-lining my '07 in 2nd gear, I get a rattling sound. Anyone have a similar experience or any idea of why it's occuring?
What's a reasonable # for a GT Vert with cold air and an x-cal tune? (I had a girlfriend once who went from zero to bitch in 2 seconds - but I don't hope to beat that!)
OK, HERE'S THE DEAL: SAY I BOUGHT YOU AN '07 GT VERT WITH STEEDA COLD AIR SYSTEM & X-CAL 2 TUNE. WHERE WOULD YOU GO FROM THERE? TRY TO KEEP IT UNDER $5,000. THANKS.
Anyone know if there are chrome bullitts (18"), preferably deep dish, that will fit 235/50R18 tires that came with '07 GT.....or is it necessary to buy new tires?
Bought '07 GT in early Sept. Looking to improve exhaust sound and flow. Need help in choosing right system. Don't know difference between cat- and axle-back or sound quality of different systems. Any input greatly appreciated. Also, can a guy with three thumbs install these systems...
