    its a snap as long as the bolts arnt rusty. soak them with some oil for a while first. and have a rag close by cause the tail shaft on the trans will leak.basic tools will work fine.

    4 bolts on the rear of the shaft. easy as pie.96-98 are not aluminum.

    Motor mounts need replacing but I have long tubes...

    i did mine not verry fun. you are going to wanna take the exhaust off. the long tubes will be in the way.

    i went to take the 97 snake out yesterday it would start then stall after about 10 SECONDS .so i ran it for codes and p1260 anti theft came up?? the car sometimes sits for weeks with the battery disconected so i dont think its a stored code.cleard out the code now its fine. so far!! anybody ever...

    in the july 06 muscle mustangs&fast fords mag you can find a great article on a 96 4.6 4 valve . they put the xe262ah comp cams in and pick'd up 44 hps. when its time for my rebuild thats the way i would like to go.the degreeing of the 4 cams looks like a mfr. i dont know how krafty you are but...

    i did look at summit. but they dont list antthing for 96-98 cobras im sure what they sell can be adapted.the hurst looks like a nice kit. do you use it to set the suspension at the tree. thats what i would like to use it for at the track.

    What gears are best?

    i love my 410s.had 373s took em out . the 4 valve engine loves loves loves high rpms.430s are good 2 but the shift from 1st to 2nd is allmost instant.

    spark plugs

    410s in the rear/62mil bbk throttlebody/bbk adj fuel reg/march underdrive pulleys/king cobra clutch/prw sfi flywheel/sct xcal2 tune by livernoise motor sports/bbk off road x pipe. the oil isnt that bad only when im on it hard .AFTER A LONG NIGHT AT 6700 RPMS ON WOODWARD. GO WINGS!!!

    hi im a new guy here.i need some help on some spark plugs.i have just gone with the stock oem plugs for a long time now what are some good ones 2 go with? thanks. oh and my car burns some oil as well.
