Traction? or should I say lack there of

Drive like you have a brain in the rain and they work just fine. DR's solve the traction problem... until you run ALOT of power... then it's not safe to drive in the rain anyways.

New stall is very high up the list. Right behind new ring and pinion. I figured it was an issue with tuning... thanks guys!

    Manual Trans ONLY

Looking at Blowers and turbo systems, why do some of them say "Manual Transmission Only!"? Is it a tuning issue? Personally, I'd rather have a 3500 Stall in an automatic intead of a manual trans. I've been out of the gear shifting scene for a few years now and don't plan on going back...

Redline at 5000?!?! No. My supercharged 5.4 will spin up to 5600 at shift... not redlining.. but at "MY" shift point. granted.. you will add weight.. but not a LOT. I'f you want more cubes.. there are kits available to increase the stroke on your 4.6 to 300CI. while retaining your...

    Hellion Turbo

Thanks Tom. I'd most likely install it myself. Brenspeed sound like the place to get it tuned. ground clearance isn't an issue. I have a lowered, supercharged F150 right now. It rides about 4.75" off the ground. I'm used to it. Thanks

    Battery relocation?

Do it. It can do nothing but help. And it's not permanent. You can always go back. The fron't will rise more and the rear will hook more. Get a sealed battery box and some straps. Keep it clean looking and professional. I've been wanting to do this to my F150 for a while. Most likely...

403hp at rear wheels no super or turbo

There ya go! Dyno's can be rigged to read alot higher for advertisement purposes.. Claims denso plugs... So he must have aftermarket heads.... Hopefully ported. 103 octane tune.. won't net a whole lot more HP than a 93 tune. Maybe 15-18. I could believe 370-375.. not 403..... dyno...

Whats it take to get in the 10s?

Hellion turbo kit is 5k + alot of tunning. Certainly worth it in my opinion. Plus, MM&FF did a write-up about a hellion turbo kit that made somthing like 570HP on the stock block... but backed it back down to a safe level. I *think* it was 570, someone correct me. Ditch the supercharger...

Whats it take to get in the 10s?

Off topic kinda.. but the local dealer here has had a red convertable Shelby for over 2 months... they can't sell it. It's brand new and I'm sure you could snag it for sticker price.

    N20,2 Go

My guess is anything over 100 shot would fry the plugs. I'd like to try the Zex kit on my F150 soon.. modify the fuel rail adapter to fit my truck..

    N20,2 Go

If you have a good dyno shop around you.. install the kit and bring some different jets with you. Also, you'll need new plugs for anything over a 75 shot... Install the kit and make a run on the dyno... Over a 75 shot and you'll need to reduce timing too along with new, colder plugs. The...
