    Wasnt a vacuum leak , i changed out the tps , the idle is fine now. Does that sound right? Now back to adjusting the rockers. Thanks again guys!

    Cant find the vacuum leak , i sprayed everything with starting fluid ,and i cant find it. The idle just goes up and down on its own. I am boiling mad. Boarder line ready for the for sale sign.

    So u are saying to make all of the rockers tight while then engine is off? How tight should they be? Just make them so that there is no movement then another half turn?     I went by the specs in the haynes manual for the 5.0 ho motor , then while the motor is running i would back off until i heard a clatter , then tighten it 3/4's of a turn, then crank down the allen key. Now when i try to adjust them the motor will run fine , then 2 minutes later the idle will...

    I spent all weekend replacing my lifters , then i adjusted the rockers to spec , everything to spec. Took it around the block and the rockers were clacking like crazy again. Pulled the valve covers , tightened them down again. Took it around the block again and it seemed like even more of them...

    3rd gear

    I'm pretty sure my t5 is on its way out too , my shifter handle looks like its going to vibrate out of the car at anything above 65 , and i cant get it back into gear when i stop. Do you guys have an estimate of how much it would cost for me to have someone rebuild it if i bring them the trans...

    gear ratio 3:55 or 3:73

    I am running 4:10's and a 5 speed i only do about 65 on the parkway . It is cool to be able to roast em going down the parkway though. I do mostly around town driving so it isnt that bad. My only gripe is that 1st gear is basically non-existent.

    Dynomax racebullets , holy crap!

    I wanted to go with the mac flow paths , but for 40 bucks a piece i couldnt turn down the bullets. I'm running dumps for now , ill see what it sounds like with tails. The only part i like is that you can really really hear the cam.

    Stupid question , but when you are doing your clutch do you need to buy the whole kit or just the clutch? I am re-building my tranny soon and i figured i woulod do the clutch while i am under there.

    Ripped torque boxes

    I was under my car today putting on my new exhaust , which is disgustingly loud btw , and i noticed my torque boxes were starting to rip. The design to me looks pretty weak. Is there any kit or way to beef them up when i repair them?

    Hard to do lifters?

    Hey guys , i am sick of waiting for my mechanic to do my lifters , so i was wondering how hard is it to do? I need to do the lifters, rocker studs , and lock nuts. While im at it i figured i would replace the pushrods too , because the P/O tightened the rocker studs too much and might have bent...
