    i'll agree with the use of castrol. good oil and reasonably priced. thats all i run in everything owned is castrol gtx and have never had a problem in the past 12 years. your oil filter is important also, dont skimp on a fram filter go with motorcraft or parts store brands like carquest, wix, etc.

    forgot to mention before that it has done this prior to the removal of said parts. so me removing those items had no effect on what its doing now. i'll have more time to look at it tomorrow to see if i can figure anything else out on it.

    thanks jrichker, we tried to figure it out, but i said the heck with it and got a 140 mph cluster and swapped it in. it was something in that printed circuit board. before my guages would all read weird (other than normal) but after we swapped clusters everything worked perfect.

    Horrendous beeping coming from my stereo

    there should be a little blue module (airbag module) behind and below the radio opening. my old 92 did that when i converted it to V8 and found out what it was. the beeping does get annoying lol.

    yes you can run them without the baffle. you will get a slight residue after time in the intake but not enough to wory about.
