    Lower control Arms

    I have the Bushingless LCAs on my Stang with the Urethane UCA. The ride is terrible! Too much vibration , clicking and clanging coming from the rear axle now. I can't wait to put a set of urethane LCAs in in place of my spherical jointed ones. They are great at the track but not for daily...

    Although everyone seems to say they "feel" the difference - I still have yet to see anyone gain HP on the naturally aspirated motor on the DYNO. Before I go spending $250-$400 on COPs and additional $100-$150 on plugs - I need to see some PROVEN dyno results.

    Leave it out. They are just trying to "satisfy" emmissions laws......Only the early 05 models had the carbon traps.

    Forget about the other cheap bolt on stuff - There is an EBAY store that will sell you a Powerdyne Supercharger - if you call him he will ship it complete for $3K. Est: 399 HP - Wish I would have done this first before buying all the "other" stuff.

    Any major differences between C&L and JLT CAI?

    +1 JLT is a painted tube of PVC plastic vs. C+L cast aluminum. Better durability for the metal however metal will also get hotter. C+L also offers a "true racer" option that has a pipe that is plastic for less heat transfer. V8Power.com has them. $269 for CAI kit.

    Cold Air Kits

    I originally dropped in a K+N (9 months ago), slight improvement. Last week I installed the INJEN intake - much improvement. Manufacturer states no tune required. However I also installed the JET module to richen air/fuel ratio just too make sure it doesnt lean out.

    Please correct me if I am wrong - of the superchargers I have actually seen , the PAXTON has its own oil lines and oil coolers where as the Vortech runs off engine oil. As far as the Powerdyne - NO oil lines.

    Thanks for the thorough explanation. I was considering the WMS kit, it is a great concept. I decided to go with the INJEN intake - haven't see anyone else with it and the install is simpler than the WMS. There is even a space for the stock emissions filter in the chrome tubing - LOL

    Combine the Powerdyne with Methonal Injection from Snow Performance to cool down the intake air and you will get your moneys worth. You can also add a smaller diameter pulley for more boost - www.proficientperformance.com sells pulleys.

    I had stripes , took them off last weekend. Previous owner of the car let it sit under a tree and the sap destroyed the vinyl. It took me 5 hours of pulling,scraping, goo-gone, rinsing and re-waxing. Luckily the paint still looks brand new. Before/after pics attached.
