It depends on the which king cobra you bought. Ford makes one that is a reduced pedal effort and one that is not. I have one that is not and it is alot harder then stock.

Have you had your motor tuned, the stock computer usually cannot run properly with mods, also if you dont want to spend a lot for an intake look for 97,98 explorer v8 intake is really good for stock intakes.
