    I had to look through my receipts, they are the Ford Performance M-5300-C springs Front: 650 lb/in. Rear: 200-300 lb/in.. The PO had some kind of purple colored springs on it and road like crap and bottomed out alot so I swapped in the Cs and did BJ s too.

    Idler Pulley Importance

    I just use a piece of a tool box slide/lock bracket thing and drilled a hole for an extra nut and bolt and extended the belt slightly. If I recall, the parts store didn't have the right size belt. or something, so I didn't have to change the tensioner..

    I'm having this screeching noise only at start up and after 20-30 seconds it goes away..it's a stick. starter is less then 2 years old from Advance..already took the serp belt off and spun all pulleys..has no AC, no smog pump..is it easy enough to replace the starter/bendix bearing..starts up...

    I never removed the pilot the last time, just the trans..even left the bellhousing on last time when I changed out the TOB..I should of just went the whole way and inspected everything..but assumed new clutch so it wasnt necessary, plus we know the stories of the TOB and folks having to change...
