are you referring to the ignition switch,?,,where is that ign relay???,i had the same problem and it was the igniton switch which is bolted with two tamper proof bolts inside the column,,,thanks

i see you don.t have dis ignition,,thats what i like about those earlier years,i don't like 91 and up models,for that reason only,it has the steel oil pan probably also,i heard the ones with the aluminum pans 91 and up you have to watchout as the oilpan gasket has a rubber oil ring that breaks...

well i manage to take the head off a 94 ranger.it was half price at the local junkyard,20$ for the head with the rollercam what a deal,,do the older 4plug heads flow better? do some stick the 8 plug head in older 2.3s and just leave the nonworking exhaust sparkplugs in ? thanks

thanks for the info.but my buddy stripped out all the 69 stock wiring and added an older model chevy alternator, bolted up , the mounting holes are about the same ,it works but it needs to come out,,should i just splice into the hot red wire and run it to the battery for the ford alt?

would like to adapt a late model alternator in a 69 mustang,,the alt is from a 88,efi5.0 stang,the 69 engine is running a serpentine belt ,anyone have some info on what needs to be done? thanks
