I was assuming because of the neutral safety switch but i can push the clutch pedal to the floor and it still wont crank. i jumped the grey/red and light blue/ yellow wires together at the trans connector and still no dice. so now what? edit: i can jump the solenoid and it will fire right up.

I have a pro 5.0 shifter thats in great shape. it has a mach1 style shift knob. also have a UPR triple hook clutch quadrant, MM firewall adjuster and a OEM ford clutch cable. best quality cable out there.
